Ferran Barenblit Appointed Chief Curator of 16th Shanghai Biennale
Ferran Barenblit, an Argentine curator, has been appointed as the chief curator for the 16th Shanghai Biennale, set to commence in November 2027. Barenblit previously led the MACBA Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona from 2015 to 2021 and was a key figure in establishing CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo in Madrid. He also directed the Centre d'Art Santa Mònica in Barcelona.
