Fendi Casa's Peekachill armchair debuts at Salone del Mobile 2026, expanding leather-clad furniture series

The Peekachill armchair launched at Salone del Mobile 2026, expanding Fendi Casa's furniture series inspired by the Peekaboo handbag. Designed by the Milan- and Amsterdam-based creative collective Controvento, this smaller, more intimate version of the Peekasit armchair features sleek lines and extensive customization options. Controvento, founded by Gabriele Chiave and Verdiana Vannini, also created the Peekasit seating range in 2023 and the Peekasleep bed in 2025. The designers previously worked together for four years at Marcel Wanders' Amsterdam headquarters before starting their own studio. After Wanders closed his studio in 2022, Chiave and Vannini retained clients including Fendi Casa, Audi, and Seletti. Their design approach emphasizes storytelling, craftsmanship, innovation, and emotion, aiming to deepen connections between people and objects. The Peekachill armchair maintains a human-centered focus, ensuring innovation is guided by awareness and responsibility.
