FEMSA Collection at 50: 'Constelaciones y derivas' Rethinks Latin American Art at MARCO
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the FEMSA Collection will showcase 'Constelaciones y derivas: arte de América Latina desde la Colección FEMSA' at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO) from March 20 to August 30, 2026. This exhibition comprises 170 pieces from more than 100 Latin American artists, with curatorial efforts led by Eugenia Braniff, Paulina Bravo, Beto Díaz Suárez, and Adriana Melchor. It is divided into five thematic 'constellations' featuring notable artists such as Olga de Amaral and Beatriz González. Additionally, Ad Minoliti's commissioned installation, 'Club de collage especulativo,' will facilitate workshops. Public programming will include 'Rutas metabólicas: Territorio' by Sara Medina, highlighting the collection's dynamic acquisition philosophy.
