Felipe SS Rodrigues Completes Quadra Buarque Mixed-Use Tower in São Paulo
Felipe SS Rodrigues has completed the Quadra Buarque building at Rua General Jardim, 410 in São Paulo. The 5,893 m² tower houses 163 affordable housing units across 15 floors, with a commercial space on the ground floor featuring an active facade. The project is part of the Minha Casa Minha Vida (MCMV) program, aiming to revitalize the city center by providing affordable homes in an area rich in culture, leisure, education, healthcare, and transport. The architecture team included Juliana Giladino and Henrique Marques, with interns Gabriel Diniz and Bruno Rodrigues Alves de Pinho. Project management was by Magik JC, general construction by Polimovi Engenharia, and structural engineering by Valdir Cruz and Clovis Maia. Acoustic engineering was handled by Alexandre Sresnewsky, and installations by Fabio Fozzatti and Rodrigo Reis. Denilson Aparecido Ostroski provided additional engineering and consulting.
