Feldspar Debuts First Lighting Collection with Bone China Pendants and Table Lamps

architecture-design · 2026-09-15

Feldspar, a design studio located in Devon, has introduced its inaugural lighting collection, which consists of two table lamps and four pendants. The studio's founders, Jeremy and Cath Brown, who operate from a 500-year-old cider farm, created these designs after years of experimentation. Their first furniture line was unveiled in 2025 during the London Design Festival. The 'Burra' and 'Merrivale' table lamps feature bases crafted from fine bone china in Devon, complemented by handmade shades in pale blue and grey linen by Eloise Scotland in Bath. Each shade, inspired by a bowl shape from Scotland, includes a concealed cobalt-blue rib. The collection also includes pendants like 'Big Slim' and 'Big Bell.' Feldspar emphasizes durability in its bone china tableware and lambswool blankets.
