FBI Director Kash Patel Engaged to Country Singer Alexis Wilkins

Kash Patel, the director of the FBI, and country music artist Alexis Wilkins announced their engagement in a post on X on Sunday evening. Wilkins, 27, shared a black-and-white photograph of the couple in which she holds her hand forward to display a ring, writing in the caption that she "went and got the law involved." Patel, 46, reposted the image. The two began dating before Patel assumed leadership of the FBI in 2025; Wilkins was present at his swearing-in ceremony. Wilkins, who works as a country singer and political commentator, released her debut album in 2023 and has been associated with conservative organizations. On her website she states that she "honours country tradition while adding relevance and current commentary." Patel has drawn criticism for his use of government aircraft on trips lacking any known or apparent law enforcement purpose, among them a flight on an FBI jet to State College, Pennsylvania, for a pro wrestling event at which Wilkins performed the national anthem.
