Fanglin Luo Wins 2025 Silver Award, Curates London Exhibition Exploring Non-Linear Time

Fanglin Luo, a London-based artist and curator, recently won the Silver Award at the 2025 New York International Art Competition, titled Light From The Other Shore. Her work combines art theory with fashion design and explores topics like identity, feminism, and transcultural memory through performance, painting, and photography. In early 2026, she launched an exhibition called 'New Spring: Lines' at Safehouse2 in London, which invited diverse communities to reflect on Northeast Asian memories and challenge conventional historical views. Her earlier video project, 'ME & GODDESS & ME,' reinterprets her as mythological figures, emphasizing feminine strength. Luo's artwork has reached audiences worldwide, including the UK, France, the USA, and Japan, highlighting the importance of memory and emotion in migration contexts.
