Fall 2026 Cultural Preview: From Mykki Blanco's Album to the Lucas Museum Opening

CULTURED magazine's fall 2026 cultural calendar highlights a diverse array of events across music, art, literature, film, and more. Notable music releases include Mykki Blanco's first album in four years, 'Cafe Paradiso' (Sept. 4), and David Byrne's tour closing show at Forest Hills (Sept. 19). In the art world, major exhibitions include Taryn Simon's 'Father Country Do I Love You' at the Guggenheim (opens Sept. 18), Arthur Jafa's 'I Am Tony' at the New Museum (opens Sept. 24), and the Whitney's Roy Lichtenstein retrospective 'Like New' (opens Oct. 11). The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens in Los Angeles on Sept. 22, housing George Lucas and Mellody Hobson's 40,000-piece collection.
