Fabrizio Corneli Unveils Light-and-Shadow Installation for Lindberg at the Armory Show
On September 24, the Armory Show in New York City unveiled a site-specific installation called Enigma of Vision, crafted by Italian artist Fabrizio Corneli for the Danish eyewear brand Lindberg. This minimalist exhibit comprises two components: Seed, a sculpture that conceals a light source to project a globe image, and Eyecatcher, which casts striking shadows using Lindberg's eyewear. These pieces embody Lindberg's principles of essentialism and perception. Since 1986, Lindberg has been known for creating lightweight glasses from materials such as titanium and diamonds, marking its debut at the Armory Show in 2024. Following its New York debut, Enigma of Vision will be showcased at West Bund Art and Design in Shanghai from November 10 to 15. CEO Roberto Vedovotto characterized the collaboration as a fusion of artistic expression and technical expertise.
