Evita Tezeno's 'Coming Home' Debuts at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles

Evita Tezeno will showcase her fourth solo exhibition, titled 'Coming Home: A Gathering of Voices,' at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles from June 14 to August 15, 2026. The opening reception is scheduled for June 14, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This exhibition highlights collage paintings that draw inspiration from her hometown of Port Arthur, Texas, and pays tribute to her family's Creole heritage. Tezeno's art captures the cultural narrative of the 'Golden Triangle' in Southeast Texas, focusing on shared experiences. She earned her Bachelor's in Graphic Design from Lamar University in 1984, and her recent solo shows include 'Evita Tezeno: Piece of My Heart' (2025) and 'Out of Many' (2023). Her artwork is included in numerous esteemed collections.
