Evilgiane Shares Tour Photos with Snow Strippers and Previews Upcoming Collaborations

In January and February, experimental rap production collective Surf Gang, led by Evilgiane, toured the United States with electronic duo Snow Strippers. The joint tour highlighted a convergence between rap and indie electronic music, with performances that blended both groups' material. During the tour, Evilgiane shared exclusive photos from his phone, capturing moments with Snow Strippers, underground rap figure Xaviersobased, and birthday celebrations at Shatto Lanes in Los Angeles on February 17. Evilgiane previewed unreleased tracks, including a collaboration with Rico Nasty and a joint effort between Surf Gang member Eera and UK artist YT titled 'slow month'. He also expressed admiration for UK underground artist John Glacier, noting her work with Harrison. The tour followed the release of Evilgiane's instrumental tape 'Giane 2' and preceded Surf Gang's collaborative album 'Pompeii // Utility' with Earl Sweatshirt and Mike, scheduled for release on April 3. Evilgiane described the tour as an opportunity to connect with audiences in various cities, with improvised sets tailored to each location. Notable shows included a performance at The Fox Oakland Theater, a converted movie venue.
