Eva Jospin's Cardboard Architectures at SCAD Museum
Eva Jospin, a renowned French artist known for her stunning cardboard sculptures, is presenting her first museum exhibition in the U.S., called 'Into the Woods,' at the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia, until June 7. With a background in both architecture and painting, she started using cardboard nearly 20 years ago after finding discarded boxes, which she sees as symbols of 'freedom' and 'rebirth.' Her meticulous technique includes carving cardboard into layered designs that evoke forests and geological formations.
