Estudio Gris Launches TUPI, a Solid Oak Table Lamp Shaped Like a Resting Bird

Estudio Gris, a design studio located in Medellín and led by Gustavo Rodríguez and Estefanía Agudelo, has introduced TUPI, a table lamp inspired by the tranquility of a resting bird. Crafted from solid oak in a Medellín workshop, each piece is meticulously assembled by hand. Its elegant, tapered form culminates in a rounded head, featuring a darker wooden beak that extends outward and a small turned eye. The beak serves as the lamp's shade, allowing light to gently cascade down the oak body without glaring directly into the eyes. TUPI is designed to be a subtle addition to a desk, bedside table, or shelf, showcasing the interplay of two woods and the warmth of its glow. The lamp measures 25 × 15 × 15 cm, weighs 1 kg, and includes a 100 cm beige fabric-covered cable. Each lamp is custom-made, ensuring unique variations in grain and tone.
