Espacio Aguacate: ALE Estudio Renovates Madrid Apartment in Carabanchel

ALE Estudio, led by architect Alegría Zorrilla with design team Catalina Lombardo and María Camila Martínez, has completed the renovation of an apartment in Madrid's Carabanchel district. The project, named Espacio Aguacate, is located on Calle Aguacate and covers 105 square meters. The interior design was curated by Valentina Díaz, with photography by Maru Serrano and construction by Dasepa Construcciones. The project uses materials from Artigo. Carabanchel, traditionally a working-class neighborhood, has recently become an emerging creative hub, attracting artists' studios and cultural spaces. The design responds to this hybrid context, blending everyday life with experimental elements. The project is categorized as a renovation and apartment interior, with a projected completion year of 2026.
