Es Devlin Retrospective 'Other Worlds' Opens at Design Museum London
The Design Museum in London will showcase "Es Devlin: Other Worlds," a retrospective celebrating Es Devlin's three-decade career in sculpture, film, and installation, from 2 October to 4 April. This exhibition features archival items and a prominent circular installation that highlights works such as the 2021 mirror-maze "Forest of Us" and the 2012 Olympic stadium floor design. This presentation is a result of a four-year invitation from V&A East Storehouse, which inspired her work titled "The Everythingists." Born Esmeralda Devlin in 1971, she has collaborated with renowned artists and events, earning multiple accolades. In 2023, she released "An Atlas of Es Devlin." Future endeavors include designing sets for Rajiv Joseph's "Archduke" and Olivia Rodrigo's arena tour.
