Erin Siena Jobs Debuts Solo Show at Hauser & Wirth Paris

Erin Siena Jobs, the daughter of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is showcasing her first solo exhibition in Europe, titled "New Works," at Hauser & Wirth Paris, which will be open until July 31. This marks the inaugural Paris exhibition by Make, a gallery initiative dedicated to artist-makers. Designed by architect Luis Laplace, who also created Jobs' studio, the exhibition invites viewers into an urban forest experience. Unique vessels rest on custom plinths and metal pedestals crafted by French artisans, while century-old washi paper drapes from above. Over six years, Jobs has cultivated a ceramic practice that embraces chance. According to Debbie Hillyerd, Hauser & Wirth's senior director of learning, she thrives amidst unpredictability. A new monograph from the gallery will be released this fall, highlighting her works in relation to their program.
