ER Atelier Designs Two Recreational Buildings as Unified Composition on Senec's Sunny Lakes Peninsula

ER Atelier has finalized two recreational structures at the end of Sunny Lakes in Senec, Slovakia, integrating the distinct buildings into a cohesive architectural and landscape design. This 196 m² project, set for 2025, is situated on a notable peninsula adjacent to the water, surrounded by a diverse array of recreational buildings from various periods and styles. Instead of introducing another standalone design, the aim is to transform the entire point with a consistent architectural language, honoring the site's history while enhancing its connection to the lake and public areas. Nina Vuga curated the project, with principal architects Ema Ruhigová and Roman Ruhig overseeing interior design and civil engineering, respectively. Additional engineering and consulting support came from Noémi Sánka, Peter Tinka, Karol Fél, Štefan Bálint, and Radoslav Kostelník. Photography was captured by Matúš Nedecký, and various suppliers contributed materials, including Ceresit, AVG Group, and Kingspan Insulated Panels. The initiative is categorized under residential architecture, houses, and extensions.
