Enzo Cucchi vs CANEMORTO: Transavanguardia Meets Street Art at Galleria Poggiali, Florence
An exhibition titled 'Enzo Cucchi vs CANEMORTO / CANEMORTO vs Enzo Cucchi' is currently on display at Galleria Poggiali in Florence until 27 February 2027. This showcase features a six-metre banner, the sole collaborative piece, created by artists and curators. The project brings together Enzo Cucchi, a prominent Transavanguardia artist, and the anonymous group CANEMORTO, established in 2007. The artworks were produced at Litografia Bulla in Rome and Cucchi's residence in Morro d'Alba between November 2025 and June 2026. The exhibition is split across two locations: CANEMORTO curates at via della Scala 35/A, while Cucchi oversees via Benedetta 3R. Recurring skull motifs illustrate themes of death and rebirth, complemented by essays from Antonio Grulli and Alessandro Cucchi.
