Emily Tisch Sussman on Collecting Guy Stanley Philoche, Kenneth Noland, and Emerging Women Artists
Emily Tisch Sussman, who co-owns Gotham FC in the NWSL, has curated a unique art collection for her home in the Hamptons, blending family heirlooms with contemporary works. She inherited notable pieces like a Kenneth Noland from her father and a Little Red Riding Hood artwork by William Wegman from her grandmother. Recently, she commissioned portraits of her kids from Guy Stanley Philoche and underwater photographs by Leigh Webber. After her time in politics, she founded She Pivots, a media company focusing on women's career transitions. Furthermore, she supports Dystany Spurlock, the first Black woman racing in NASCAR's ARCA Menards Series. Gotham FC also teamed up with New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani to sell $15 tickets for the Queens Classic, featuring Spike Lee and more.
