Eman Khalifa embarked on her artistic journey following a 30-year business career and her experience as a single mother, which adds a sense of urgency to her creations. Her artwork spans Elemental Abstraction, Geometric Abstraction, and Contemporary Realism, delving into themes of control versus surrender. Drawing inspiration from her diverse background rooted in Cairo and the U.S., she incorporates elements of nature and memory. Khalifa has showcased her work at venues such as The Other Art Fair, Parallax Art Fair, and Untitled Art Fair. Trained at the American University in Cairo under Paul Rinaldi, she reflects influences from artists like Cézanne, Vermeer, and Caravaggio. Her recent pieces, including 'Deep Wave' and 'Phoenix,' highlight her vivid color choices as she prepares for the Sussex Art Fair at Goodwood.
