Elizaveta Poliakova Debuts 'The Cloud' at Haus der Visionäre

On June 26 and 27, 2026, Elizaveta Poliakova, a choreographer based in Berlin, will debut 'The Cloud' at Haus der Visionäre. This immersive installation, developed in collaboration with visual artist Dominic Kießling, fuses contemporary dance with kinetic sculpture, live sound, and light design to delve into themes of instability, fragility, and environmental change. The centerpiece is a large kinetic structure crafted from ultra-thin foil and plastic, which transforms through air pressure, movement, and light, altering its shape and the surrounding space. The performance emphasizes evolving tension and material resistance rather than following a linear storyline. A musician provides live sound, while Marco Di Nardo employs lighting as a dynamic choreographic element. Caterina Politi offers choreographic assistance, and Leonis Works is responsible for promotion.
