Elena Salmistraro's 'Eustorgio' Installed at Havas Milan HQ
Elena Salmistraro has created 'Eustorgio', a permanent wooden sculpture for the Milan headquarters of Havas. The work, standing about 1.8 meters tall and crafted by artisans from La Veneta in Vicenza, reinterprets iconic Milanese architectural elements: the Duomo's profile, the Torre Velasca, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and details from the city's metro and Franco Albini's handrail. Commissioned by Caterina Tonini, CEO of Havas Creative Network Italy and Co-Founder & CEO of Havas PR Milan, the project was curated by Francesca Taroni, director of Living at Corriere della Sera. Tonini sees culture as a 'gentle force' connecting business, creativity, and community. The sculpture is a permanent fixture in Havas's workspace, symbolizing the company's commitment to integrating art into corporate identity beyond traditional sponsorship.
