Elena Lukina's Independent Pavilion Opens During Venice Biennale

Artist Elena Lukina has launched an Independent Pavilion in Venice, timed to coincide with the Biennale timeline. The project presents twelve interconnected oil paintings that explore silence, melancholy, and nature's restorative rhythms. Lukina describes the pavilion as an act of absolute artistic freedom, operating outside traditional institutional frameworks. Her signature color, 'dusty turquoise,' is central to the work, capturing the boundary between historic waters and sky. The creative process incorporates the natural frequency of 432 Hz, translating acoustic vibrations into visual rhythms through fractal brushstrokes. Works include 'Depth in Minor,' 'Frozen Echo,' 'Waiting for the Tide,' 'Shadow of Ancient Stone,' 'Through the Mist of Time,' 'Breath of Silence,' and 'Frequency 432,' each measuring 50 to 100 cm on canvas. Lukina positions the exhibition as a sanctuary for the mind, offering viewers a tool for mental regeneration away from global noise.
