El Roblar Hotel Reopens in Ojai with Art-Filled Interiors by Studio Shamshiri

After being closed for half a century, El Roblar, a Spanish Revival establishment from 1919 in Ojai, California, has reopened its doors as a hotel with 50 rooms. This endeavor involves entrepreneur Eric Goode, Ramin Shamshiri, restaurateur Warner Ebbink, and filmmaker Jeremy McBride. The design draws inspiration from the original 1919 blueprints and includes over 1,000 pieces of art and antiques. The Condor Bar features condor-themed memorabilia and serves Mexican-inspired dishes crafted by chef Brandon Boudet. The hotel also pays tribute to local icons through an 'Ojai Hall of Fame' and showcases a mural by Stefano Castronovo. Accommodations comprise 31 rooms, 11 bungalows, and eight in Sycamore House, with a spa anticipated to open in 2027. The address is 122 E Ojai Ave, Ojai, CA 93023.
