El Equipo Mazzanti's Student Center in Santa Marta Blends with Forest Canopy
The Student Center Santa Marta in Colombia has officially been completed by the architecture firm El Equipo Mazzanti under the direction of Giancarlo Mazzanti. This expansive facility covers an area of 524 square meters and was finalized in 2025. Designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings, the structure features a roof that mimics a tree canopy, offering a woodland ambiance. Notable contributions came from local architect Fabiana Tribin and landscape designer Enrique Cavelier. The project also involved a talented team, including Julián Villescas, Luis Castillo, and others, with Alejandro Arango Escobar documenting the project's progress through photography.
