Edenland Pedestrian Bridge in Luxelakes Features Geometric Tetrahedron Design by unarchitecte

Completed in 2024, the Edenland Pedestrian Bridge spans 200 square meters in Luxelakes, connecting LuxeIsland with Edenland. Designed by unarchitecte under architect-in-charge Hetian Zhang, the structure employs a triangular pyramid motif inspired by Platonic geometry. The bridge's aesthetic distinguishes it from other winding pedestrian crossings in the area through pure geometric forms. Architectural references include Le Corbusier's perception of natural order in geometry and Paul Cézanne's observation that nature forms upon spheres, cones, and cylinders. The design team comprised Hetian Zhang, Yonggang Fan, Jinxian Zhang, Rumo Zhang, and Jihua Sun. Structural consultation was provided by iStructure, with lighting by Thinda. Construction was handled by Sichuan Telis Engineering and Design Co., LTD for client Wide Horizon Group. Curated by HAN Shuang, the project enhances connections between community clusters, parks, green spaces, and commercial areas. Photographs documenting the bridge were taken by Arch-Exist.
