Ector Hoogstad Architecten Designs Circular Town Hall for Krimpenerwaard in Bergambacht

Ector Hoogstad Architecten has designed a new circular town hall for the municipality of Krimpenerwaard in Bergambacht, Netherlands, scheduled for completion in 2026. The 9,000 m² building aims to unify the local government following the merger that created the municipality, providing a welcoming and accessible space for residents and businesses, as well as a collaborative work environment. The project emphasizes circular construction principles. The design team includes lead architects Laurence van Benthem and Wessel Roos, with a broader team featuring Joost Ector, Saskia Oranje, Koen Klijn, Kim Hooiveld, Wiktoria Mrozek, Kees Bongers, and René van den Brink. Project management is handled by HEVO, while Dura Vermeer Bouw Zuid B.V. serves as the general contractor.
