Eba Integrates Santos Plinth Drawer Units Into Parisian Kitchen Projects

architecture-design · 2026-10-08

Eba, a design studio, has integrated the Santos plinth drawer unit into many kitchen designs, enhancing storage capacity to the floor level. Eba notes that traditional kitchen plinths waste about six to eight centimeters of space, whereas the Santos unit minimizes this to approximately two centimeters, allowing for up to four extra tiers of storage beneath the countertop. The unit features a slight inward tilt at the front, enabling users to stand flush against the cabinetry while hiding the additional drawer. Founded in 2019 by the designer of Spanish kitchen brand Santos, Eba primarily designs kitchens for Parisian properties and opened a London showroom in Marylebone in 2024. Their base units come in various finishes, suitable for compact spaces.
