Dyson Unveils CameraJet Toothbrush; Lucas Museum Revealed in LA

other · 2026-09-05

Technology brand Dyson launched its first electric toothbrush, the Dyson CameraJet, which combines brushing, flossing, and mouth-washing into one device. The toothbrush features a camera-directed mouthwash jet designed to remove plaque between teeth, aiming to replace traditional flossing. In an interview with Dezeen, Dyson's Niamh Turney stated that the product updates 'a cleaning routine that has remained largely unchanged for decades.' In Los Angeles, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, designed by architecture studios MAD and Stantec, was revealed ahead of its opening on 22 September. The museum, with a spaceship-like form covered in 1,200 curved panels, is set to open later this month. Additionally, Dezeen highlighted architecture highlights from Burning Man's 40th-anniversary event in Nevada, including a giant inflatable orb by BIG founder Bjarke Ingels and colleague Jakob Lange, and a shrine by Chicago architect Antwane Lee. In design, fashion brand H&M launched an eight-piece clothing collection created by interior designer Kelly Wearstler, described as 'relaxed and refined – unmistakably Kelly', following her H&M Home furniture collection unveiled in Milan. The most popular projects on Dezeen this week included a house in Indonesia topped with sloping green roofs, a Czech home with a long, slanted facade, and the first Goop restaurant by Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Hsu.
