Dylan Dog Makes Theatrical Debut as Teatro Eliseo Reopens in Rome

For the first time ever, Dylan Dog, the comic detective conceived by Tiziano Sclavi on 26 September 1986, will be brought to the stage in a production called Dylan Dog Horror Show. This event is set to debut on 28 October at the Teatro Eliseo in Rome, marking the inaugural theatrical venture from Sergio Bonelli Editore. Co-written by Sclavi and Nicola Russo, the show is directed by Valter Malosti. The cast features Gabriele Graham Gasco as Indagatore dell'Incubo and Loris Fabiani as Groucho, among others. Musical accompaniment will be provided by a trio: Paolo Spaccamonti, Luca Cavina, and Jacopo Battaglia. Notably, this premiere also signifies the reopening of Teatro Eliseo, which has been closed since 2020, four decades after the character's debut in L'alba dei morti viventi.
