Duchamp and Sturtevant in Dialogue at Thaddaeus Ropac Milan

At Thaddaeus Ropac in Milan, the exhibition 'Dialogues are mostly fried snowballs' pairs Marcel Duchamp (France, 1887–1968) and Elaine Sturtevant (USA, 1924–2014) to explore ready-mades, historical reinterpretation, and alternative hermeneutic maps. Duchamp's selected objects—such as 'Bottle Rack' (1914/64) and 'Fountain' (1917)—derive value from the artist's selective act, which becomes a creative principle.
