Drew Aaron's Paris Pied-à-Terre Blends Blue-Chip Art with Emerging Talent
Drew Aaron, the founder of Gallery Red and a collector, has reimagined a 1,600-square-foot apartment located on the right bank of the Seine in Paris, collaborating with interior designer Sarah Dray to create a residence and salon. The public areas showcase high-value artworks, featuring a 1982 painting titled Cabeza by Jean-Michel Basquiat in the entryway and another piece by Basquiat in the living room. Additionally, there are works by Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst. In private spaces, emerging artists are represented, including a print by Andrea Torres Balaguer in the kitchen and a painting by Miju Lee in the guest room. After selling The Aaron Group to Konica Minolta in 2017, Aaron launched Gallery Red in 2018 and owns eight locations in Palma. Dray also preserved furniture prototypes within the apartment.
