Donika Kelly's Illuminated Poem at Kunstverein München

American poet Donika Kelly presents 'A mist, a wind, the old dog and the hill' as part of Kunstverein München's Schaufenster series. The work is installed as illuminated text visible day and night from Munich's historic Hofgarten, transforming a public window into a site for poetry. A German translation by artist Tanja Widmann accompanies the poem. This is the second chapter of the Schaufenster initiative, developed with artist Jason Dodge and his poetry imprint fivehundredplaces, which showcases unpublished poetic works as temporary public installations before publication. The exhibition runs until 13 September 2026.
