Dolly Parton Tribute Specials from ABC, CBS, NBC Available on Streaming

Following the death of Dolly Parton at age 80 in Nashville, Tenn., after a short battle with cancer, ABC, CBS, and NBC aired tribute specials. ABC's 'Dolly Parton: An American Original – Special Edition of 20/20' aired Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT, hosted by David Muir, featuring interviews with Robin Roberts and the late Barbara Walters, plus tributes from Jane Fonda, Keith Urban, and Keke Palmer. It is available on Hulu on Disney+. CBS's 'A CBS News Special: Dolly Parton – An American Icon' also aired Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT, led by Gayle King and Tony Dokoupil, with reports from Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and archival footage including Morley Safer's 2009 60 Minutes interview and Norah O'Donnell's 2023 Person to Person chat. It streams on Paramount+ for Essential and Premium subscribers. NBC's 'Dolly: An NBC News Special' airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT, hosted by Lester Holt, with reports from Hoda Kotb, Andrea Canning, Keith Morrison, and Josh Mankiewicz, and appearances by Lauren Alaina, Bill Anderson, Danica McKellar, and Bob Greenblatt. Streaming availability on Peacock is not yet confirmed.
