exhibition · 2026-10-19

In 2026, the Dia Art Foundation will strengthen its ties with Latin America by showcasing artists in New York and transporting its collection to the area. "David Lamelas: The Machine," curated by Humberto Moro and Ella den Elzen, will be displayed at Dia Chelsea, highlighting six decades of Lamelas's artistry and serving as his first significant solo show in New York. Meanwhile, "Penumbra: Dia Art Foundation" will take place in Buenos Aires from March 28 to August 2, featuring works by notable artists such as Agnes Martin and Andy Warhol, also curated by Moro and den Elzen. Additionally, Dia Beacon plans to present Félix González-Torres from April 2024 to June 2025 and Hélio Oiticica from 2025 to 2026. Jessica Morgan, who has been Dia's director since 2015, will transition to lead Tate in 2027.
