Dezeen's roundup features six contemporary homes that demonstrate the versatility of stone in architecture. The projects span the UK, India, and China, using limestone cladding, sandstone bricks, precast stone blocks, and reclaimed stone. In Scotland, Pend's Whitberry extension uses blush-toned precast stone blocks for a heritage-listed farmhouse in East Lothian.
