architecture-design · 2026-10-01

The editorial team at Dezeen has curated a selection of ten remarkable furniture and lighting designs showcased during the September 2026 design weeks across Europe, including the London Design Festival, Helsinki Design Week, and Berlin's Currents festival. Noteworthy pieces feature Jake Robertson's Split Lamp, the elongated floor lamp by Wretched Flowers, and Valeria Montero's Membrana lamp. Filippo Muzi Falconi’s Portal of Seedlings earned a spot on the shortlist for the 2026 Wood Award. In Berlin, Llot Llov presented the Throw lamps and Tilo chair, while WINT Design Lab introduced Tracks lampshades. Additionally, Gubi reissued the Lotus Table Lamp, first created by Carlo Nason in 1969. At Helsinki's Habitare, Sistem launched the Tynne acoustic screen for Niimaar, made from leftover oak strips and wood-fibre acoustic filling.
