Design Within Reach launches Semita rug collection by Little Wing Lee

Design Within Reach has introduced the 'Semita' rug collection, designed by Little Wing Lee of Studio & Projects. The collection includes round and rectangular rugs handcrafted in India using wool from New Zealand. Inspired by traditional kilims and Lee's family home, the rugs feature spiral motifs referencing constructivist painting and broken geometry. Lee, an honoree in the Wallpaper* US400, emphasizes the rug's role as a grounding element in a room, offering tactile quality and the ability to be displayed on floor or wall. The collaboration highlights craftsmanship and function within DWR's collection of artful objects.
