Design Blob Transforms Madrid Office into Serene Physiotherapy Clinic

In Madrid, Design Blob has transformed a former office space into EstudioFisio Goya, a physiotherapy clinic that prioritizes warmth and calm over clinical sterility. The project appears in Glocal Design Magazine's 89th edition, 'Visionarias del espacio,' which features 15 female architects and interior designers in Mexico. The clinic, located in the Goya neighborhood, opened in March 2026 after just three months of construction. The design leverages seven balconies for natural light, which organizes the layout. A herringbone wood floor unifies the space, while a palette of raw tones, beiges, and off-whites creates balance. The reception area features a rounded wooden table, a sideboard, an olive tree, and an organic lamp, evoking a domestic feel. Treatment rooms use beige stretchers, wooden shelves, and directed lighting for an enveloping atmosphere.
