Derek&Eric Crafts Drzzl Olive Oil Identity with Squeezy Bottles and Citrus Palette

architecture-design · 2026-09-30

The visual identity for Drzzl, an olive oil brand established by Natalia Rudin—author of Nats Nourishments and boasting 1.6 million followers on Instagram—was crafted by London branding agency Derek&Eric. In partnership with Studio Drama, the design steers clear of typical Tuscan stereotypes, incorporating a squeezable bottle, lively citrus hues, and a wordmark that gives the impression of being poured. The logo features organic letterforms with stacked Zs and a zigzag pattern reminiscent of oil on a plate. Drzzl offers two varieties: Table (orange) for dressing and Kitchen (yellow) for cooking, both made from Italian Coratina olives. Adam Swan from Derek&Eric sought to set Drzzl apart in a saturated market, while Rudin commended the design for effectively reflecting the brand's essence.
