Delaware Grocery Store Hosts Intimate Music Series for Latino Artists

Fiesta Fresh Market, a Mexican grocery store in Delaware operated by the Aguilar-Garcia family, has launched the Mercadito Sessions, a performance series inspired by NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts. Local Latino musicians perform in the store's produce aisle, primarily playing Mexican Regional music. The initiative aims to provide a platform for independent artists and foster community. Following viral attention, the series is expanding to include a festival called The Meltdown on March 20, featuring bands playing genres like indie rock and surf punk.
