Danny Kaplan, Gubi, Beni Rugs, and Kohler Debut New Design Collections
Vince Patti, a woodworker from Brooklyn associated with Lesser Miracle, and ceramic artist Danny Kaplan have broadened their collaboration for 2024, named Delf, which now includes a desk, cocktail table, console, and nightstand crafted from white oak, adorned with handmade ceramic tiles inspired by Vallauris, France. This collection is currently displayed at Kaplan's NoHo showroom in Manhattan. Additionally, Gubi has reintroduced Carlo Nason's LT305 lamp, known as Lotus, featuring four nested shades made of mouth-blown glass. The Chelsea Collection by Beni Rugs, in partnership with Colin King, employs a Moroccan hand-knotting technique to produce rugs with nearly 1.6 million knots. Claudia Afshar and Marius Aurenti collaborated on The Natural Edit, which includes five microcement colorways. Aerin Lauder's Fleurette collection for Kohler showcases hand-applied botanical designs on vitreous china items.
