Daniele Sigalot's 'Please Take This Seriously' at Gallery Hotel Art, Florence
Since 1999, the Gallery Hotel Art in Florence, part of the Lungarno Collection owned by the Ferragamo family, has been a proponent of contemporary art, showcasing exhibitions biannually that feature 50 artists, such as Andy Warhol and Steven Klein. CEO Valeriano Antonioli introduced Daniele Sigalot's solo exhibition, 'Please Take This Seriously', curated by Valentina Ciarallo, which will be on display from June 10 until autumn 2026 at Vicolo dell'Oro 5. Sigalot's artwork critiques the language of art marketing, drawing inspiration from Marcel Duchamp and philosopher Roger Caillois. Highlights of the exhibition include 'The Ping Pong Paradox', an interactive table, and stainless steel paper airplanes, which have been showcased in over 30 cities globally, linking aviation to art.
