DAK Coffee Roasters: Hybrid Café Design by Barde + vanVoltt in Amsterdam
In Amsterdam, DAK Coffee Roasters has opened as a hybrid coffee destination that merges a specialty café, retail space, tasting room, and work area into a single architectural concept. Designed by Barde + vanVoltt, the 100 m² project reimagines the traditional café by centering the craft of coffee within the spatial experience. Rather than merely a place to consume coffee, the design encourages visitors to discover, learn, and interact with the product itself. The project was completed in 2024, with photography by Sarah Wijzenbeek.
