D'HOUNDT+BAJART Architectes&associés Completes The Babel Community Coliving Residence in Villeneuve-d'Ascq
The Babel Community coliving residence, a 13,524 m² hospitality and residential architecture project, was completed in 2025 in Villeneuve-d'Ascq. Designed by D'HOUNDT+BAJART Architectes&associés, the project was led by architects Vincent D'Houndt and Bertrand Bajart, with design contributions from Nathan Nicolas Questroy Exposito and Nathan Exposito. Curated by Hadir Al Koshta, the development features photography by Paul Tahon. Engineering and consulting involved multiple firms: MBO Engineering handled quantity surveying, ETC managed MEP systems, ABAC provided structural engineering, and MODUO and auddicé focused on environmental sustainability. Manufacturers supplying products for the project included EQUITONE, Ceragni, Florim, Hoyez, Knauf, and Omniplex.
