Curran Launches Synsisal Carpet Tiles Mimicking Natural Sisal for Contract Projects

Curran, a US brand, has expanded its carpet range with Synsisal tiles designed to replicate the appearance of natural sisal textiles. Created by designers Stephanie Piché and Cristina Orozco Cuevas, the product aims for visual authenticity, mimicking the complex texture and color of intertwined sisal yarn. Made from 100% recycled Econyl polyamide yarn, it is a circular product suitable for recycling and durable for high-traffic environments like offices and hospitality spaces. The tiles feature a polyester fleece backing and come in four colors: Honeycomb, Pebble, Shale, and Walnut. Measuring 500 x 500 millimeters, they allow for dry installation without toxic adhesives, with individual tiles replaceable to extend lifespan. Curran has over 30 years of experience with natural fibers, and the launch is part of Dezeen Showroom, a platform for brand partnerships.
