Crosby Studios designs football-themed pop-up exhibition at High Line Nine

Harry Nuriev's Crosby Studios has created 'Home of Football: Home & Away', a temporary exhibition located at High Line Nine in New York's Chelsea Gallery District, in partnership with the cultural platform Home of Football and the arts collective Air Afrique. This exhibition, which will be open until 19 July 2026, delves into the connections between sport, art, design, and fashion across six distinct chapters. The venue showcases a mint green color scheme reminiscent of a football field, complemented by circular designs symbolizing the ball and pitch markings. Curated by Air Afrique, the display includes Pelé's 1958 World Cup jersey, artifacts from Ronaldo's 2002 World Cup victory, and over 60 match-worn jerseys, trophies, and photographs. Additionally, The Crosby Shop features brands like Baccarat, Nothing, Rizzoli, Obayaty, and La Terra Di Neena, some making their US debut. A café pop-up, Balira Coffee, run by former Real Madrid and World Cup champion Sami Khedira, is also part of the exhibition. Nuriev characterizes the concept as a fusion of football, fashion, and art culture, aiming to convey the sport's vibrant energy in an approachable way.
