Craig & Karl: Double Vision brings global visual language to Cairns Art Gallery
Queenslanders Craig Redman and Karl Maier, known as Craig & Karl, are set to unveil their exhibition 'Double Vision' at Cairns Art Gallery from 4 September 2026 to 16 January 2027. This marks their inaugural showcase in a regional Queensland gallery, following its previous display at Griffith University Art Museum. Their artistic collaboration began at World Expo 88, leading to the creation of their design collective Rinzen and the founding of 'Craig & Karl' in 2011. While Maier resides in London, Redman is based in New York. The exhibition will take place in the heritage-listed Court House Building (1921) and will feature their distinctive vibrant colours and wit, launching with a complimentary event on 3 September during the Cairns Festival.
