Cosentino unveils Amazonik and Nomak surfaces for kitchen and bath design

Cosentino has introduced two new Dekton collections, Amazonik and Nomak, that redefine materiality in contemporary kitchen and bathroom design. Amazonik evokes the warmth and organic feel of wood through an ultracompact surface that mimics natural grain, knots, and texture while offering high resistance to wear, moisture, and heat. It is suited for countertops, islands, backsplashes, and flooring, with tones like Kedar and Zira enhancing luminous sophistication. Nomak takes a serene, mineral-inspired approach with subtle veining and a palette of soft grays and light tones, promoting fluid, continuous interiors. Its applications include seamless countertops, monolithic walls, and integrated sinks, with colors such as Evok, Keena, and Thala amplifying natural light. Both collections leverage Dekton's technical properties: high resistance to heat, scratches, stains, thermal shock, and near-zero porosity. The launch was featured in the 89th edition of Glocal Design Magazine, titled "Visionarias del espacio," which profiles 15 female architects and interior designers in Mexico. The issue includes two collector covers by Prince Láuder and Jimena Estíbaliz. Cosentino positions these surfaces as part of a shift where materiality becomes a sensory experience and a key component of emotional architecture in the home.
