Cornetta Arquitetura Completes House 258 on a Steeply Sloped Lot in 2024
Cornetta Arquitetura has finalized House 258, a residential project spanning 515 m², completed in 2024. Nestled on a steeply inclined lot, the design philosophy emphasizes a harmonious relationship with the site, delicately integrating with the landscape while safeguarding the existing grove. Leading the architectural vision was Pedro Cornetta, alongside team members Luigi Borges and Renan Antiqueira. Structural engineering was handled by DRC Engenharia, while Latar Engenharia managed facilities engineering and consulting, and Cazes oversaw general construction. João Paulo Soares captured the project's photographs. Curated by Susanna Moreira, it was featured on ArchDaily, with the original text available in Portuguese. The architecture opens toward the sunset and valley, showcasing golden-hued concrete, while the opposite side nestles into a tranquil forest.
